This sculpture reimagines the mythical giant women believed to have built Malta’s prehistoric temples. Carrying a stone on her shoulder while nurturing a child, she embodies both labor and care  endurance and tenderness.
 

Inspired by the symbolism of Ġgantija and Ħaġar Qim, the form recalls ancient strength carved into fleeting snow. It is a tribute to time, memory, and the enduring power of the feminine momentarily captured in ice and light.
