At their peak,
two ravens.
One alive, feathers sleek, heart beating.
The other, a silent skeleton,
a presence that watches.
 

They look in the same direction,
toward what’s coming,
toward the unseen.

Gab and Max.
Two souls bound by love and art.
Max, his wife, taken too soon,
becomes a guide, a gentle presence,
