THE DEADLY SEVEN IN PERPEPTUAL DISHARMONY

SCULPTURE DESCRIPTION

Here we have a depiction of the medieval church art, in the form of he seven deadly sins.

So often on canvas individually, here we have the characters interacting with each other

in a sculptural form, in a modern context. We see Gluttony, who has Lust, under one

arm. Lust has its tongue in Pride's ear, as it looks at itself in its cell phone. Under

Gluttony’s other arm is Wrath, who is listening to Sloths whining, as it begs. On the back

side of the sculpture Gluttony, is sitting on Greed, with its money, placed in that position,

and Envy, who is trying to steal it. It seems like Gluttony is in control. A statement of the modern world, as would be seen on my sculpture canvas.
